GAIA Global | Zero Waste Cities thematic session

Zero waste is happening at the local level, and GAIA and ZWE members from around the world are showing how it is done! As our advocacy efforts to get more municipalities around the world to adopt effective zero waste strategies within their communities are having a greater impact, the GAIA/ZWE family has built impressive know-how regarding the implementation of zero waste systems across diverse contexts. In this session, we will be celebrating this collective knowledge by sharing experiences from GAIA and ZWE members who are supporting the implementation of zero waste systems in their communities. GAIA and ZWE members are invited to present their zero waste successes and milestones for other members to learn from, and we will have sessions where you will interface with others to share more.

Each work area has two 2-hour sessions that will build on each other, that aims to accommodate different timezones so members can attend the one that best fits their region. For the closing ceremony, we will only have one session to bring members from all regions together.
