GAIA Global | Anti-incineration thematic session

Are you seeing any threats around waste burning in cement kilns in your region? As corporations and governments increasingly push it as a climate and waste solution, GAIA is organizing a space to share your experience and knowledge on the fight against this false solution. All GAIA/ZWE members are welcome to join this session where we will learn from one another — from the global perspective to the on-the-ground actions organized by GAIA members. There will be presentations, Q&As, and discussions that can help our movement catalyze a global shift towards real solutions and debunk waste burning together.

Each work area has two 2-hour sessions that will build on each other, that aims to accommodate different timezones so members can attend the one that best fits their region. For the closing ceremony, we will only have one session to bring members from all regions together.
