GAIA AP Regional Meeting Day 1
It has been two long years since our last meeting! This year, we call all our X members of our dynamic network to attend the GAIA Asia Pacific Regional Membership Meeting 2021. It will be held virtually between 2-8 December 2020 for at least two hours a day as part of the Global Week of Solidarity and Celebrations.
We have made strides despite the critical changes in our development contexts, yet, critical challenges remain. It is important to take stock in our progress, challenges, and opportunities in achieving our shared regional strategy we have co-developed in Penang in 2020.
Thematic sessions on Zero Waste Cities, Anti-Incineration, and Plastics are also organized to tackle key policy issues or important trends. These are also open to everyone interested in regional collaborative action and learning on Zero Waste.

Goals of the AP Regional Meeting:
- To take stock in our progress in achieving GAIA-AP’s regional strategy.
- To strengthen ownership of the strategy by opening spaces for discussion on issues and trends.
- To open spaces for developing a shared framework of action in critical policy issues for 2022
